When you wax, you are removing hair from the root. On average, you can expect to be hair free for 2-3 weeks before seeing any new hair growing and, with regular waxing you can expect your hair to become finer and softer.
Here at Chique we use Jax Wax, a luxury and superior range of hot and strip waxes which are cruelty free and vegan. These waxes are paraben free and contain no preservatives, dyes, pine resins or palm oils, making them perfect for those with sensitive skin.

Hot wax is always used for facial or underarm waxing. It’s applied as a liquid but hardens and shrink wraps around the hairs very quickly, allowing the wax to be removed without the use of paper strips. This type of wax is so gentle, making it perfect for the delicate facial area.

Clients that have hair removed with hot wax, experience far less pain than with strip wax and because hard wax sticks only to the hair and not the skin, less redness and irritation occurs.

Leg waxing is carried out using strip wax, which is more suited to larger areas. The strip wax we use spreads ultra-fine, leaves zero residue and causes little or no irritation or redness.

Bikini waxing is performed using a sugar strip wax. This is a natural alternative to wax and contains only sugar, water and lemon. The formula is extremely gentle and is far less painful for the bikini area. The results are super smooth skin with longer lasting results.
